Description

Design, implement, and administer automated cloud infrastructure with a security-first approach. You will own the release pipeline, optimize cloud environments for performance and cost, and establish vulnerability management processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based infrastructure using automation and security best practices.
• Build lifecycle automation for public cloud services using Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Establish vulnerability management processes and scalable automation to secure production and non-production environments.
• Develop DevOps and DevSecOps strategies covering architecture, deployment, and CI/CD.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in an on-demand production support rotation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in cloud environments.
• Expert-level Terraform experience, including building complex infrastructure, writing modules, and managing state files.
• Solid GCP cloud infrastructure experience with a focus on infrastructure security.
• Deep understanding of GitOps models and various branching strategies.
• Experience with GKE, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, IAM, GCS, and Firebase.
• Proven ability to design and implement large-scale, highly resilient distributed cloud architectures.
• Strong knowledge of the full DevOps cycle, including CI/CD, Secure CI/CD, and Observability.
• Solid understanding of Linux fundamentals; Windows knowledge is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building data platforms and Infrastructure as Code with a specific security focus.
