Description

You will design, deploy, and secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, owning the lifecycle from provisioning to monitoring.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage GCP resources including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, Cloud SQL, GKE, and Cloud Functions.
• Implement and enforce GCP IAM policies, service accounts, custom roles, and organization policies.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.
• Monitor system health and security posture using Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Security Command Center.

Required Skills

• 3–8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Security, or IAM.
• At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and IAM.
• Strong knowledge of GCP networking concepts: VPC, Firewall Rules, Load Balancers, and VPN.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
• Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Ability to write automation scripts in Python or Bash.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
