Description

You will implement cloud designs and standards to deploy application hosting environments using repeatable templates and automation within a DevOps methodology.

Responsibilities

• Provision application hosting environments, monitoring, and reporting to meet project objectives.
• Configure and deploy VPC environments and cloud instances based on architect designs.
• Collaborate with NetSecOps to establish automated security controls and network security policies.
• Manage users, organizations, groups, and access via IAM requirements.
• Develop and document SOPs for the consumption of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS on GCP.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of infrastructure development experience with GCP foundation services (computing, network, storage, content delivery, administration, and security).
• 5+ years of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripting.
• Deep expertise in Windows and Linux IaaS, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and containers.
• Experience with automated Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and SQL.
• Proven track record managing large-scale infrastructure deployments in enterprise environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Serve as a Tier 2 escalation point for troubleshooting and resolving production break-fix incidents.
• Participate in a weekly after-hours on-call rotation to resolve production issues.
