Description

You will design and lead the implementation of cloud-native IAM solutions within Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, reusable Terraform modules to manage IAM components across GCP organizations, folders, and projects.
• Architect federated identity integrations using OIDC and SAML.
• Define standards for IAM automation using GitHub Workflows and Terraform.
• Oversee DevOps engineering teams, review pull requests, and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to align identity governance with platform automation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in cloud architecture roles focused on IAM/security.
• Architect-level expertise in GCP IAM, cloud identity, and resource hierarchy design.
• Expert proficiency with Terraform, including module development, provider development, and state management.
• Proven experience implementing federated identity architectures (OIDC, SAML) and Google Workspace integrations.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Workflows and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with DevOps tooling including Jenkins, Salt, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating IAM with HashiCorp Vault or other secrets management systems.
• Professional Cloud Architect certification on GCP.
