Description

You will lead GCP design and architecture efforts for large-scale data migrations.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect solutions leveraging GCP services, including DataProc, GCS, and BigQuery.
• Lead migration efforts from Teradata to GCP, identifying and resolving large-scale migration bottlenecks.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to the team, unblocking issues and improving migration process quality.
• Participate in technical meetings, contributing valuable input and developing strategies based on stakeholder requirements.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of total IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience at the design and architecture level with GCP.
• Minimum 4 years experience using Python.
• Expertise in GCP services: DataProc, Google Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
• Experience with Teradata migration to GCP.
• Knowledge of cloud components such as Pub/Sub and Composer/DAG.
• Strong capability in solutioning and team leadership.
