Description

You will design, implement, and maintain secure Google Cloud Platform solutions, focusing on data pipelines and infrastructure automation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage data processing pipelines using Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and BigQuery.
• Implement security protocols and access management controls across GCP environments.
• Configure monitoring, logging, and error notification systems for proactive issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure using DevOps best practices and Python scripting.
• Manage support tickets and operational tasks using ServiceNow to ensure timely delivery.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience specifically with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• 7-8 years of overall professional experience in software or cloud engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for automation and data manipulation.
• Deep knowledge of GCP components including Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and BigQuery.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to manage security, access control, and compliance within cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools, specifically ServiceNow, for operational support.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools beyond standard scripting.
• Background in data engineering or large-scale data processing systems.
