Description

You will design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines and data transformations on Google Cloud Platform to support analytics and reporting.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize BigQuery datasets and write efficient SQL queries for data validation and performance tuning.
• Implement and manage batch and stream processing using Dataflow and related GCP services.
• Integrate event-driven ingestion using Pub/Sub and ensure end-to-end pipeline reliability.
• Monitor pipeline health using Cloud Logging and Monitoring, troubleshoot failures, and improve latency.

Required Skills

• 4-8 years of experience in data analytics or data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Proven track record in ETL development and data transformation on GCP.
• Experience with operational troubleshooting and pipeline monitoring.
• Ability to write efficient SQL queries and support analytics needs.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to orchestration tools such as Cloud Composer or Airflow.
• Experience with data quality frameworks and advanced performance tuning.
