Description

You will design and maintain data architectures and analytics pipelines on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring code quality, security, and repeatability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data models and architecture using BigQuery and GCP services.
• Implement secure engineering practices, including secrets management and least privilege access.
• Manage all code, SQL scripts, and documentation in GitHub with standard development workflows.
• Communicate technical requirements and data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Operate in ambiguous environments by creating structure, definitions, and documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in analytics, data, or engineering-adjacent roles.
• 5+ years of GCP experience, including deep proficiency with BigQuery.
• 3+ years in Data Architecture and Data Modeling.
• 3+ years of experience with GitHub and standard software development practices.
• 5+ years familiarity with secure engineering practices (secrets management, avoiding credentials in source control).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to create structure and documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Working proficiency with Python and JavaScript/Google Apps Script for data ingestion and automation.
• Experience with Docker for shipping repeatable data tooling.
• Familiarity with Looker Studio, Tableau, or Alteryx environments.
