Description

You will design and modernize big data architectures on Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement BI and Big Data Analytics environments on-premise or on GCP.
• Migrate workloads from on-premise or other public clouds to Google Cloud Platform.
• Partner with Operations teams to size, scale, and tune new and existing architectures.
• Manage and provision cloud infrastructure, including network, storage, and compute resources.
• Design data security solutions covering encryption, access control, and storage management to ensure GDPR compliance.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Data Analytics and Big Data.
• Deep expertise in designing and modernizing architectures on Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud BigQuery, GCS, Cloud Dataflow, and Cloud Pub/Sub.
• Experience with Hadoop environments.
• Proven ability to migrate Data Warehouse and Big Data projects from on-premise to GCP.
• Working knowledge of microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with real-time streaming and processing of logs, time series, unstructured, and relational data.
• Ability to align Google best practices with specific customer requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience architecting solutions using Cloud BigTable and TensorFlow.
• Experience with capacity planning for new Google Cloud initiatives, including sizing for storage, compute, and network.
