Description

You will design and lead data platform migrations on Google Cloud Platform, focusing on modern analytics architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable data warehousing and lakehouse solutions using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Dataflow, Dataform, and Composer (Airflow).
• Lead cloud data migration and platform modernization initiatives for large, complex programs.
• Define and communicate architectural concepts to technical and executive stakeholders in Agile environments.
• Integrate BI and analytics consumption tools, such as Power BI, with backend data layers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect on large-scale projects.
• Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform services: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataform, and Composer.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing, lakehouse, and analytics architectures.
• Proven track record in cloud data migrations and platform modernization.
• Experience with BI tools, specifically Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile and large program environments.

Preferred Skills

• GCP Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Architect certification.
