Description

You will design and own the end-to-end data architecture on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define frameworks for data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics.
• Architect solutions using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
• Establish data modeling standards and ensure data governance and compliance.
• Lead implementations of data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse solutions.
• Guide data engineers and analytics teams on architectural decisions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
• 8+ years in data engineering or data architecture roles.
• 3+ years designing and implementing solutions on GCP.
• Expertise in Data Architecture and Cloud Architect principles.
• Proficiency in Data Modeling and establishing best practices.
• Experience implementing Data Governance and security frameworks.
• Ability to optimize data platform performance and cost-efficiency on GCP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with lakehouse architectures.
