Description

You will design, engineer, and migrate scalable distributed systems and data architectures on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build cost-efficient, fault-tolerant distributed systems using GCP services.
• Lead solution development alongside subject matter experts to create cloud solution offerings.
• Deploy hybrid systems that integrate on-premises infrastructure with Google Cloud Platform components.
• Execute production migration projects and enforce GCP best practices for security and reliability.
• Mentor entry-level engineers and liaise with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing distributed systems on Google Cloud Platform.
• Deep proficiency with BigQuery, Composer, Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub.
• Expertise in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD (DevOps) toolsets and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python or another high-level programming language.
• Working knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem and Spark jobs.
• Proven track record executing production migration projects on GCP.
• Expertise in data modeling and enterprise data architecture frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification.
