Description

You will design and implement data solutions for data center migrations to the cloud or other data centers, focusing on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design and execute scalable solutions across Azure, GCP, and data center technologies, specializing in GCP.
• Build data pipelines and ETL processes on GCP using technologies like Apache Beam or Apache Spark.
• Architect solutions leveraging GCP services, including Compute Engine, Bigtable, Pub/Sub, and Dataflow.
• Develop data migration strategies and execute initiatives moving from on-premises environments to GCP.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of total experience in data engineering and architecture.
• 3-4 years of experience specifically in an architectural role.
• Demonstrated experience with GCP data engineering and BigQuery implementation.
• Hands-on experience building data pipelines and ETL processes on GCP.
• Understanding of DevOps within GCP infrastructure.
• Experience with migration from on-premises environments to GCP.
• Familiarity with Gcp, Azure, Bigquery, Etl Processes, Apache Beam, Apache Spark, and Aws.
