Description

You will design and implement data pipelines and logical data structures within the GCP ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines using GCP and Big Data technologies to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Define data cardinality and preprocessing requirements to support I/O mapping.
• Derive transformation processes and emphasize logical data structures.
• Perform unit testing, peer code reviews, and technical documentation, including low-level design and release instructions.
• Lead technical implementations and assist internal teams and client resources with release migrations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture or related roles.
• Strong experience defining GCP Cloud Architecture and data flows.
• Hands-on expertise with Python, large file processing, and complex SQL queries or procedures.
• Proficiency with GCP Dataproc and GCP Database Migration Service (DMS).
• Experience with Big Data environments and data analytics.
• Ability to work independently to deliver on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Experience using JIRA and HP QC ALM.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with global teams.
