Description

Design and implement data pipelines and architectures within the GCP ecosystem for banking event requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines using GCP and Big Data tools to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Define GCP Cloud Architecture and data flows based on data cardinality and specific banking event requirements.
• Develop technical specifications, low-level design documents, and release installation instructions.
• Perform unit testing, peer code reviews, and manage functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with global teams and client resources to assist with release migrations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture and large file processing.
• Hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Expertise in GCP Cloud Architecture and defining data flows.
• Proficiency with Python.
• Experience with GCP Dataproc and GCP Database Migration Service (DMS).
• Background in Big Data and data analytics.
• Experience using JIRA and HP QC ALM.
• Ability to work independently to deliver high-quality technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale data migrations in regulated environments.
