Description

Design and implement data architecture and integration strategies within a GCP environment, owning ETL/ELT processes, technical strategy, and code quality.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ETL/ELT processes to ingest data into BigQuery while maintaining data quality and integrity.
• Shape project strategy by defining scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Oversee quality assurance processes, coding standards, and technical documentation reviews.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead technical design discussions and work with development teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a GCP environment.
• 2+ years of experience solutioning IRIS integrations.
• Expertise in Google Cloud services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
• Proficiency in SQL with experience optimizing complex queries in BigQuery.
• Strong data modeling skills for data warehousing environments.
• Programming proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for data manipulation and automation.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
