Description

You will design and implement scalable end-to-end data solutions and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end data solutions and optimize storage for analytical and operational workloads.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Dataflow, DataProc, and BigQuery.
• Develop data models and implement data quality frameworks to ensure integrity and accuracy.
• Automate deployments using GCP DevOps tools, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Manage security, governance, and monitoring for all GCP data solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• 3+ years of experience in a cloud architecture capacity.
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform services including BigQuery, Dataflow, DataProc, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
• Advanced data modeling skills covering dimensional, relational, and NoSQL patterns.
• Proficiency in Python for building data workflows and automation.
• Hands-on experience with GCP DevOps tools including Cloud Build, Terraform or Deployment Manager, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong background in data quality management and governance.

Preferred Skills

• GCP Professional Data Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect certifications.
• Experience with Apache Beam or Spark.
• Exposure to cloud data security and compliance practices.
