Description

Design and manage scalable data architectures and pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize complex data models and ETL processes using BigQuery, LookML, Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Automate data processing and orchestration using GCP Data Flow and other GCP services.
• Create dashboards and reports using GCP Looker Studio to provide business value.
• Manage the entire data lifecycle, including ingestion, archiving, and deletion.
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices on GCP.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data modeling, and analytics on Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in BigQuery, LookML, Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Experience designing and developing scalable data architectures and pipelines.
• Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong data modeling skills to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency.
• Experience conducting data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data governance frameworks.
• Ability to conduct data analysis to identify trends.
