Description

Design and deliver cloud-based data solutions using Google Cloud Platform for specific client business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design GCP architecture and develop cloud strategies, standards, and best practices.
• Build and manage scalable, reliable cloud solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Evaluate new GCP technologies and trends to apply them to client solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or architecture.
• Deep implementation experience with GCP Data Storage and Processing services: BigQuery, Dataflow, Bigtable, Dataform, Data Fusion, Cloud Spanner, and Cloud SQL.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with Apache Spark and hands-on expertise with SQL.
• Proven experience in Cloud Computing environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating legacy data warehousing or on-prem data lakes to GCP.
• Experience building real-time ingestion and processing frameworks on GCP.
• Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud experience and GCP certifications.
