Description

You will own the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain distributed data systems using GCP tools for batch and streaming workflows.
• Develop API interfaces and support data infrastructure operations.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for data jobs and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and optimize pipeline performance and scalability.
• Mentor data engineers and establish best practices for code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, and Scala.
• Expert-level SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, DataFusion, DataProc, and Cloud Storage.
• Experience driving Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
