Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and processing systems on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement scalable data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and storing large volumes of data.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes using GCP storage solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data processing systems to ensure performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Implement data governance best practices for data quality, lineage, and metadata management.
• Collaborate with data analysts to implement solutions that meet specific data requirements.

Required Skills

• 7-9 years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and ETL tasks.
• Expertise in SQL and database technologies for data manipulation and querying.
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Dataproc.
• Strong understanding of big data technologies and frameworks.
• Knowledge of data governance, integrity, security, and compliance principles.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with machine learning pipelines and model serving on GCP.
• GCP Data Engineering certifications.
