Description

Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to transform and load data from multiple sources.
• Manage and scale data infrastructure on GCP, ensuring data integrity through automated validation.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines and storage solutions for performance.
• Implement data security and compliance best practices across cloud platforms.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data modeling.
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and services architecture.
• Experience with data security practices in the cloud.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Apache Spark, Apache Beam, or similar data processing frameworks.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD processes, and Terraform.
• GCP Professional Data Engineer certification.
