Description

Build and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Apache Beam.
• Design data models and implement data warehousing patterns in BigQuery.
• Orchestrate workflows and scheduled executions using Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).
• Integrate data ingestion and event-driven components using Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions.
• Collaborate on API integrations, version control, and CI/CD practices.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of data engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services.
• Expertise in BigQuery and SQL for data warehousing.
• Experience with Cloud Dataflow and Apache Beam for scalable processing.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow), GCS, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Proficient in Python for pipeline development.
• Experience with Dataproc.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PySpark.
• Knowledge of MS SQL.
