Description

You will design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data processing frameworks on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize cloud-native data engineering solutions using GCP services.
• Implement data quality, governance, and performance optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Architects to define technical solutions.
• Use AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude to accelerate development.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical execution within Agile teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and distributed data systems.
• Proven track record building ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data processing frameworks.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Clinical Trial, EMR/EHR, or Healthcare data platforms.
• Understanding of Healthcare data standards, workflows, and regulated environments.
