Mandatory Skills – GCP, Data Engineer, BigQuery, SQL, Looker

Required Skills & Experience:

• GCP Expertise: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience building production-grade data solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Core Tools: Deep, practical knowledge of BigQuery (SQL optimization, slot management) and Dataflow (Apache Beam in Python or Java).
• Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, alongside expert-level SQL skills.
• Data Modeling: Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault 2.0).
• Looker/LookML: Experience writing LookML, building explores, and managing Looker deployments.
• Data Governance: Familiarity with GCP Dataplex, Apache Atlas, or similar data governance and cataloging suites.
• Certifications: GCP Professional Data Engineer or GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is a major plus
