Description

You build and maintain production-grade data solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines using Dataflow (Apache Beam) in Python or Java.
• Optimize BigQuery SQL performance, including slot management and query tuning.
• Develop data models using Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, or Data Vault 2.0.
• Create LookML explores and manage Looker deployments for data visualization.
• Apply data governance standards using tools like GCP Dataplex or Apache Atlas.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience building data solutions on GCP.
• Expert-level SQL skills with deep knowledge of BigQuery.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Practical experience with Apache Beam for data processing.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Experience writing LookML and building Looker dashboards.
• Familiarity with data governance and cataloging suites.

Preferred Skills

• GCP Professional Data Engineer or GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification.
