Description

You will build and optimize AI-ready data platforms on Google Cloud Platform, focusing on greenfield development and data standardization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Cloud Composer, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Build and optimize BigQuery datasets, ensuring high performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment.
• Modernize legacy AI/ML models by migrating them to GCP infrastructure.
• Leverage AI tools like Copilot to accelerate development and improve productivity.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering (not application development).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.
• Deep expertise in BigQuery, including performance tuning and cost optimization.
• Experience with Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub Actions.
• Experience building Analytical Data Stores (ADS) and semantic layers.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with GKE and Workflows.
• Experience with data governance and standardization initiatives.
