Description

You will design and deploy data-centric architecture in GCP to support large-scale materials management and inventory transformation initiatives. You own the release pipeline and production-grade data products.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy data-centric architecture in GCP to integrate data from modern and legacy applications across manufacturing, finance, and supply chain sectors.
• Build and maintain scalable, cost-effective production batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Develop microservices architectures to deliver large-scale real-time data processing applications.
• Implement DevOps practices using Terraform, Tekton, and GitHub Actions to manage cloud infrastructure and deployments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data product development, and software product launches.
• 4+ years of cloud data or software engineering experience building production-grade pipelines.
• Proficiency in at least three of the following: Java, Python, Spark, Scala, or SQL, including experience with performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with GCP tools: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Memorystore, Dataflow, Dataproc, Artifact Registry, Cloud Build, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, and Pub/Sub.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with RDBMS including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
• Experience with real-time data streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka or GCP Pub/Sub.
• Experience with workflow orchestration using Airflow.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools: Terraform, Tekton, Docker, Git, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience using REST APIs for compute, storage, operations, and security.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IDOC processing, APIs, SAP data migration, or working in SAP S4 Hana environments.
• GCP Certification.
