Description

You will build and maintain scalable data pipelines and microservices within a Google Cloud Platform environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines using GCP-native tools, including Cloud Composer and BigQuery.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT processes and implement real-time and batch data ingestion using Pub/Sub and Cloud Dataflow.
• Develop and manage data processing microservices using Cloud Run.
• Optimize and monitor data workflows to ensure high availability and performance.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong proficiency with Google Cloud Platform services: BigQuery, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and Cloud Run.
• Expertise in Python and SQL for data transformation and orchestration.
• Experience building and deploying production-grade data pipelines.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT best practices.
• Proficiency with version control tools like Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Dataproc (Apache Spark/Hadoop), Firestore, or Cloud SQL.
• Familiarity with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
