Description

You will own data engineering workflows, migrations, and optimization within a Google Cloud Platform environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Execute data migrations from legacy systems to GCP.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL and Python scripts for data processing.
• Manage data workflows using Cloud Composer.
• Operate and optimize BigQuery for large-scale data analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data roles, specifically Data Engineering.
• 2+ years of recent, hands-on experience with GCP data tools.
• Strong proficiency in SQL script development.
• Advanced Python scripting capabilities.
• Direct experience with BigQuery.
• Direct experience with Cloud Composer.
• Proven experience participating in enterprise-level data migrations to GCP.
• Ability to pass technical assessments in both SQL and Python.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating data specifically from Teradata to GCP BigQuery.
