Description

Design and build scalable serverless data applications on Google Cloud Platform, focusing on Bigtable and Python automation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement serverless cloud solutions using GCP Bigtable and Python.
• Design data models and manage large-scale data storage with GCP Bigtable.
• Integrate various GCP services to enhance data processing capabilities and security.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment and monitoring of cloud functions.
• Troubleshoot issues related to cloud functions and optimize solutions for performance and cost.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud development.
• Strong proficiency in Python for cloud solution development and automation.
• Deep expertise with Google Cloud Platform, specifically GCP Bigtable.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud BigQuery.
• Ability to design efficient data storage solutions and data models.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to build cloud-native architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring team members in Python and GCP best practices.
• Ability to document technical designs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
