Description

You will design and manage data pipelines and ETL processes within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Develop applications to connect to and ingest data from remote APIs.
• Build data pipelines for real-time streaming of logs, time-series telemetry, and unstructured social data.
• Collaborate with operations teams to tune existing architectures and new deployments.
• Align Google best practices with specific analytics requirements to deliver functional solutions.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Data Analytics and Big Data.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Expertise with Google Cloud products including Cloud BigQuery, GCS, Cloud DataFlow, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud BigTable.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Experience with NoSQL database systems including Redis, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
• Degree in any field (Any Graduate).

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating Data Warehouse or Hadoop projects from on-premises to GCP using DataProc.
