Description

You will design, develop, and operationalize large-scale data architectures and analytics platforms on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement data warehouses, data lakes, and large-scale data solutions.
• Develop data pipelines using GCP cloud implementation suites.
• Build and maintain automated deployment and testing processes via CI/CD pipelines.
• Design software solutions using Java and Python to support data engineering workflows.
• Collaborate within agile development methodologies to deliver data-driven projects.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software design and development.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with GCP tools including BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Apache Beam, Airflow, Composer, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions.
• Proficiency in Java and Python for software development.
• Extensive experience writing and optimizing SQL for data manipulation.
• Experience managing DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Strong understanding of large-scale data architecture and operationalization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• 5 years of dedicated experience in the data engineering field.
• Comparable experience with AWS or other cloud Big Data environments.
