Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines and RESTful APIs within a GCP environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines using GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
• Develop RESTful APIs and implement unit tests using Python.
• Manage messaging systems with Kafka, including Kafka Connect and streaming applications.
• Integrate Kafka with GCP managed services and persist data in relational and NoSQL databases.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python for building APIs and unit testing.
• Experience with GCP data services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage).
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for messaging and streaming.
• Proficiency with RDBMS (Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Gradle.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with other GCP services such as Cloud Functions.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
