Description

Key Responsibilities
✅ Design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade database solutions using Google Cloud managed and cloud-native database services.
✅ Architect scalable database environments utilizing Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, Bigtable, AlloyDB, and Firestore.
✅ Lead complex database migration projects from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Google Cloud with minimal downtime.
✅ Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, and connection pooling.
✅ Design and implement High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), replication, failover, and Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR) solutions.
✅ Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable cloud database architectures.
✅ Implement database security, IAM policies, encryption standards, and governance best practices.
✅ Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and scripting languages including Python, Bash, or Go.
✅ Support application connectivity by working with Java, Python, JDBC, ODBC, Hibernate, and database integration frameworks.
✅ Participate in architecture discussions, troubleshooting, production support, and continuous cloud optimization initiatives.
