Description

You will design and deploy data applications within the Google Cloud ecosystem, handling the full lifecycle from concept to production.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python and PySpark applications for Big Data and analytics environments.
• Apply Object-Oriented Design principles to build scalable software solutions.
• Deploy applications using Cloud Run and leverage Google Cloud services.
• Solve technical challenges specific to complex business requirements.
• Manage data workflows using DataProc and BigQuery.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python development.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark.
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, specifically DataProc and BigQuery.
• Experience deploying applications using Cloud Run.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles.
• Familiarity with Astronomer.
