Description

Design, architect, and manage cloud infrastructure and data systems on the Google Cloud Platform. You will own the release pipeline and data architecture for enterprise-scale solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build infrastructure for optimal ETL processes from diverse data sources using SQL and Google Cloud big data technologies.
• Develop data pipelines using Dataproc, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer (Airflow), and Cloud Functions.
• Implement data quality processes including cleansing, audits, alerts, and referential integrity.
• Architect and manage enterprise-scale data models, data warehouse modernizations, and cloud-based data lakes.
• Define cloud adoption strategies and transformation roadmaps for large-scale enterprise clients.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience architecting with GCP technologies.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise cloud applications.
• Expertise in BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Spanner, and Bigtable.
• Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with CI/CD, Google Cloud Build, Git flow, GKE, and Docker.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture and microservices patterns.
• Knowledge of GCP Vertex Search and AI/ML services for enterprise use cases.
• Experience with Cloud Storage and managing highly virtualized solutions.
• Ability to implement cloud best practices for cost optimization and high availability (five 9s).

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
• Google Professional Data Engineer certification.
