Description

You will lead data initiatives on Google Cloud Platform, owning ETL processes, data migration, and system reliability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute ETL processes and manage data migration projects.
• Troubleshoot system issues and handle administrative tasks including project setup, user authorizations, and job scheduling.
• Write and test programs using Unix Shell scripting and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Manage support services and change control using ServiceNow.
• Prioritize tasks by consulting with business stakeholders and Product Owners.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of IT experience with mastery of GCP and related data services.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Google Composer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and ETL implementation.
• Working knowledge of Git workflows (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
• Experience operating within an agile application development environment.
• Familiarity with Cloud Functions.

Preferred Skills

• Basics of Python or Java.
