Description

You will lead data architecture and engineering efforts within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL/ELT frameworks using BigQuery.
• Architect end-to-end data pipelines using Google Cloud data products and Big Data technologies.
• Automate data loads from BigQuery using APIs or scripting languages.
• Create data lineage within GCP using DBT.
• Manage non-functional requirements and operations for data engineering lifecycles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in data architecture or data lead roles.
• Deep hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.
• Expertise in BigQuery concepts including nested queries, clustering, and partitioning.
• Proficiency in Python programming, specifically with PySpark and Pandas.
• Extensive experience with Google data products: Dataflow, Dataproc, Dataprep, and Cloud Composer (Airflow/DAG configuration).
• Working knowledge of Big Data technologies: Spark, Hadoop, Hive, and MapReduce.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL modern data stores.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a DevSecOps (CI/CD) environment.
