Description

You will own data validation and migration testing within the Google Cloud Platform environment, focusing on dataset integrity and functional verification.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Compare datasets between Teradata and BigQuery, including all intermediate datasets.
• Write and execute functional test cases based on specific business requirements.
• Validate data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle using BigQuery Migration Service and SQL Translation.
• Manage and compare large datasets to ensure accuracy during transitions.
• Document test results and maintain testing artifacts using frameworks like Collibra-Owl.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data testing or related QA roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and validation.
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery and GCP environments.
• Experience working with Teradata environments.
• Proven ability to manage and compare large-scale datasets.
• Experience using testing tools such as Collibra-Owl or similar frameworks.
• Ability to document and execute detailed functional test cases.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with BigQuery Migration Service and SQL Translation.
