You will design, build, and operationalize large-scale enterprise data solutions and applications on Google Cloud Platform.
Responsibilities
Design and build production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within hybrid big data architectures.
Re-architect and re-platform on-premise data warehouses to GCP cloud environments.
Architect and implement next-generation data and analytics platforms using GCP native or custom programming.
Build and operationalize data engineering, ingestion, and curation functions at production scale.
Perform assessments of current state data platforms to create transition paths to GCP.
Required Skills
7+ years of experience designing and operationalizing enterprise data solutions using GCP services like BigQuery, BigTable, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud DataProc, Cloud Dataflow, and Apache Beam.
1-3 years of hands-on experience managing applications and operations within Google Cloud Platform.
2+ years of experience re-platforming on-premise data warehouses to GCP.
2+ years of experience building production data pipelines using Java, Python, or Scala.
2+ years of experience architecting data and analytics platforms in agile environments.
Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, and Microservices.
Experience with Spark, AWS, and Google Cloud.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to perform financial modeling and quantitative analysis.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
