Description

You will design, build, and operationalize large-scale enterprise data solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within hybrid big data architectures.
• Re-architect and re-platform on-premise data warehouses to GCP cloud environments.
• Architect and implement next-generation data and analytics platforms using GCP native or custom programming.
• Perform assessments of current state data platforms to create transition paths to GCP.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience designing and operationalizing enterprise data solutions using GCP services like BigQuery, BigTable, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud DataProc, Cloud Dataflow, and Apache Beam.
• 2+ years of experience building production data pipelines using Java, Python, or Scala.
• 2+ years of experience re-platforming on-premise data warehouses to GCP.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, and Microservices.
• Experience with Spark, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Ability to perform financial modeling and quantitative analysis.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
