Description

Own the design, migration, and operational support of public cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support GCP IaaS and PaaS environments including networking (VPC, VPN, Interconnect), IAM, and security controls.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Migrate workloads from on-premises data centers or other clouds (AKS) to GKE.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
• Manage application components including BigQuery, Cloud Composer, GKE, Cloud SQL, Dataproc, and Data Fusion.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with GCP infrastructure, including VPC, Firewall, Routes, and Organization Policy.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Cloud Build, or GitLab.
• Strong scripting skills in Shell and Python.
• Hands-on experience with GKE, BigQuery, Dataproc, and Cloud Storage.
• Knowledge of GCP security components: KMS, Secrets Manager, and Security Command Centre.
• Proven track record of DC to GCP or AKS to GKE migrations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Data Fusion, Bigtable, and Cloud Monitoring.
