Description

You will build and manage the GCP foundation platform to enable application deployments.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the GCP foundation platform using Infrastructure as Code methods like Terraform.
• Integrate, configure, and manage common cloud services including IAM, networking, logging, operating systems, and containers.
• Enforce compliance with defined security, operational risk standards, and change management practices.
• Maintain support and operational documentation for network, firewall, and monitoring systems.
• Provide out-of-hours support on a rotational on-call basis for 24/7 coverage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building services within a Cloud Service Provider, ideally GCP.
• Expert knowledge of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and available tooling.
• Experience configuring SDN within a CSP, such as VPCs or XPN.
• Practical experience with IAM (ADFS, OAuth) and cloud compliance, auditing, or monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy, or Scala.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to diverse, cross-functional IT teams.
