GCP DevOps Engineer

You will manage and optimize scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure infrastructure on GCP using IAM, VPCs, Cloud Storage, Clickhouse, and Superset.
• Manage and optimize GKE clusters, including pod scaling, resource allocation, and security policies.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Stratus, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD.
• Automate deployment workflows for containerized and serverless applications.
• Implement security best practices for IAM, network security, and data encryption.
• Monitor and optimize GCP resource usage to ensure cost efficiency.

Required Skills

• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect certification.
• 5+ years of experience with GCEP services including GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud Pub/Sub.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Stratus, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes (pods, deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets) and tools like kubectl, Helm, or Kustomize.
• Hands-on experience with Docker.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with YAML and JSON for configuration management.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Google Cloud Operations Suite.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, and load balancers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Clickhouse and Superset Apache tools onboarding.
