Description

You will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support application services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage GCP infrastructure, ensuring security through IAM policies and network controls.
• Automate provisioning and deployment using Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost using Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Manage containerized applications on Kubernetes (GKE) and implement disaster recovery strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering.
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools: Terraform, Ansible.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build.
• Strong knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (GKE).
• Ability to monitor systems using Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices, including encryption and IAM.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing disaster recovery and backup strategies for critical systems.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting production infrastructure issues in non-production and production environments.
