Description

You will own the lifecycle and operation of infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Administer GCP services including Compute, Storage, and Networking components.
• Manage GKE/Kubernetes clusters, handling setup, scaling, security, and upgrades.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or GCP Deployment Manager.
• Establish and maintain core GCP environments, including Landing Zones, Backup/Restore solutions, and Cloud VPN.
• Configure and manage GCP networking and security policies (VPC, IAM, Firewall Rules).

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• Deep expertise in GCP core administration (Compute, Storage, Networking).
• Proficiency in GKE / Kubernetes administration, including RBAC and HA configuration.
• Mandatory experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
• Strong command of GCP Networking and Security principles (VPC, IAM, Firewall Rules).
• Proven experience setting up GCP Landing Zones.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for GCP workloads.
• Familiarity with GCP Backup & Restore and Cloud VPN implementation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Cloud Monitoring/Logging).
• Knowledge of cost optimization and performance tuning in GCP.
