Description

Lead security initiatives across the GCP environment by integrating security into the development and operational lifecycle.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead security design and architecture reviews for GCP infrastructure, including network segmentation and secure configurations.
• Integrate security testing into the SDLC and automate SAST, DAST, and IaC scanning within CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and maintain automated security tooling using Terraform to streamline cloud operations.
• Develop IAM controls, encryption strategies, and cloud security posture management (CSPM) within GCP.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to implement remediation and proactively hunt for threats using security analytics.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in security or DevOps engineering roles.
• Deep expertise in GCP security services and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and OWASP security principles.
• Ability to implement security monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms.
• Experience with threat modeling and risk management.
