Description

You will design and deploy scalable, secure cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform, owning the infrastructure lifecycle from Terraform modules to CI/CD pipelines.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop GCP solutions using Terraform IaC modules and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot issues across Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions.
• Drive automation by integrating AI and MCP workflows to reduce manual intervention.
• Craft Prisma RQL queries with the Security team to identify and remediate security gaps.
• Manage on-call duties, resolve 100+ Jira tickets monthly, and execute cost optimization initiatives.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform services and Terraform IaC.
• Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
• Strong command of SQL, PostgreSQL, and BigQuery.
• Experience with Dataproc, Cloud Composer, Data Fusion, and Cloud Run.
• Ability to write Prisma RQL queries for security compliance.
• Skilled in executing proof of concepts (POCs) for new GCP services.
• Capable of performing backup, restore, and performance tuning operations.

Preferred Skills

• Deep expertise in BigQuery optimization and compression.
