You will design, build, and operate secure, automated cloud platform capabilities on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain GCP API Management (Apigee) infrastructure, including API Gateway and integration products.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Implement secure-by-design controls using GCP Cloud Armor, Networking, and Load Balancer.
• Define and monitor SLOs/SLIs to ensure availability, performance, and resilience of platform services.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to platform engineering standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, with strong proficiency in GCP.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in CI/CD systems including GitHub Actions, Harness, or Jenkins.
• Deep understanding of GCP API Management (Apigee) infrastructure and API Gateway solutions.
• Experience with GKE, container runtimes, and service mesh patterns like Istio.
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Strong understanding of REST/OpenAPI, authentication/authorisation, and mTLS.
• Experience with observability tooling, including SLO-based monitoring (e.g., Dynatrace).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault, Backstage, and Azure cloud services.
• GCP certifications aligned to the service role.
